A few months ago we told you the horrible story about how someone nailed some sweet little puppies to the railroad tracks. Today we are really glad to be able to report that the person responsible is now in jail.

Wouldn't it be great if dogs could drive cars? If nothing else, man's best friend could make for a really loyal designated driver. Actually, maybe it's not such a good idea. Just ask James Campbell. Oh wait, you can't ask him because he's dead, run over by a van driven by a boxer bulldog.

When I first read the headline, my mind went straight to the gutter. Still, this story is a bit strange. A woman is helping her husband's monkey school, they exists, by breastfeeding the monkeys.

The latest to try and fail at turning the misfortune of animals into humor is former Jackass star Bam Margera, who posted a downright stupid photo on his Twitter page, pointing a gun to a dog's head...

I don’t care how many guns you have shot, if watching this doesn’t transform your heart into mush then you are NOT human!

PETA can sometimes have interesting and creative ways of promoting humane animal acts, but this one takes the cake by far. In downtown Toronto blue and pink dancing condoms were seen on the street promoting spaying and neutering for dogs and cats. Watch the video after the jump.

I love PetSmart. There's one right near my house and my dog and I love to walk over and browse through the store. They have the cutest stuff for pets and it's fun to see the dogs interact. Poison front man Bret Michaels has partnered with the store to launch his own line of pet products which he appropriately named "Pets Rock," which they do. Watch his announcement video below.

I have cats and they too are rather annoying at times. But nothing intentionally as annoying as this one.

What do you get when you combine three adults and 134 cats in a Halfmoon trailer?  We aren't sure, but it can't smell very good.  Three people were arrested on Monday after state police found 134 cats in their trailer.

Many people are under the impression that pit bulls are an unfriendly pet.  One local group is trying to educate people and repair the animals bad reputation.

When you think of snakes, a warm fuzzy loving pet isn't the first thing that comes to mind.   That doesn't stop millions of people from taking them home as pets all the time.  So do they make good pets?
