Albany County District Attorney's office has made an arrest  - 30 year old Anthony Walker who lives on South Swan Street in Albany was arrested on January 14th for nailing the puppies to the railroad tracks.

Walker has so far been charged with Abandonment of a Disabled Animal which is only a  misdemeanor at this time. The DA didn't give any additional information but chances are there will be more charges.

Of the three puppies two survived and the great folks at the Mohawk and Hudson Humane Society found them both great homes. The puppies were named Pearl and Hudson.

If you have any additional information, please contact the Albany Police Department 462-8039.
