No news as to when we can expect a new Stone Sour album, but front man Corey Taylor explains that it could be a concept album.

He's been in the news for awhile now: as frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour and recent guest star on NY Ink, as well as being chosen to make a speech at Oxford later this year, vocalist Corey Taylor has had a lot going for him. He's really been doing positive things for himself since the death of his bassist and dear friend Paul Gray last year. Now, he's going one step further, as he has written

Last night, Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor was featured on NY Ink, which is a show about the Wooster Street Social Club tattoo shop, owned by former Miami Ink star Ami James. Taylor gets a piece in honor of the late Paul Gray, who was the longtime bassist for Slipknot. Watch the emotional video after the jump.

Stone Sour and Slipknot frontman, Corey Taylor, is scheduled to make an appearance on NY Ink this week. The show will be aired June 9th at 10pm on TLC. Taylor will be getting a tattoo during the show, and we'll be able to catch the special significance behind the tattoo, and possibly others he already has...

Stone Sour recently canceled some of their shows including a performance at Rock On The Range after drummer Roy Mayorga suffered a minor stroke.   While the band waits for Roy to recover, they released a video for their latest single ‘Digital (Did You Tell)’, off of their album Audio Secrecy.

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has been given the ultimate honor and opportunity: he has been chosen to deliver the guest speech at Britain's prestigious Oxford University later this year.

Roy Mayorga has suffered a minor stroke causing the band to cancel the remaining shows left on their schedule.

The Slipknot and Stone Sour front man is finally opening up about Velvet Revolver and the future of Slipknot and what the upcoming tours mean.

Stone Sour has released the following statement:  "We regret to announce that Stone Sour bass player Shawn Economaki has gone home for personal issues. For the time being, we will continue to tour with a replacement bassist. We wish him all the best."
