2012 is only a couple of days old, and Slash has certainly hit the ground running.  The former Guns n Roses guitarist is putting the finishing touches on a new album recorded with Alterbridge frontman Miles Kennedy and getting ready for a show with Scott Weiland and Velvet Revolver.

It's Slash's first ever live CD and it's coming out on Tuesday. Slash returned to his hometown and recorded the concert at the Victoria Hall in Stoke On Trent on July 24th. The show was at the end of  his 2010-11 world tour in support of his debut solo album "Slash".  Lead vocals were handled by Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge and the 21 song setlist featured tracks from his solo album, f

With so many bands performing it might be hard for some to choose a favorite singer of that cluster. But not for me, one voice in particular cuts through the rest.
