Evanescence have announced that their next single will be ‘My Heart Is Broken,’ and the band recently took up shop in Los Angeles to film the video for the song.

Evanescence is releasing their first new album in over 5 years today.  The self - titled album c0ntains 16 tracks of material that all members had a hand in creating.  The record is produced by Nick Raskulinecz, known for his work with Alice in Chains and Foo Fighters. Front woman Amy Lee even feels this album is more of a family reunion.

Evanescence released a video for their new single 'What You Want'.  The video takes place in New York City with the band rocking at a show while Amy Lee runs through deserted subways terminals, jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge, and reuniting with the band at Coney Island before walking into the Ocean. It's been four years since Evanescence had a new album for their fans, but the wait is almost over -- and singer Amy Lee has dropped a few hints as to what we can expect.

There hasn't been new stuff from Evanescence since 2006.  Now the band is working at full speed to get a new album out for 2011.
