Evanescence Premieres New Song On MTV [VIDEO]

If you tuned into MTV last night you got to see the bands brand new single live as the band debuted it for the world.

I guess MTV is trying to get back to their roots following their 30th anniversary a week ago. They did a special last night called MTV First: Evanescence, where the band performed their brand new single "What You Want" live.  The musical part of it is much harder than what we are use to hearing from the band.

"What You Want" will be on the bands upcoming self titled album which is due out in October of this year.  Evanescence is scheduled to play their first US show in 2 years on August 17 in Nashville with a full US tour to follow that.
