November 11, 2012 There hasn't been much hype about long-time Dallas rock quartet Drowning Pool since the debut of their self-titled album in 2010. However, the band have are now putting finishing touches on their fifth studio album, due out next year. She has been the front woman since day one, so in a way it's the end of an era. However, a replacement has been named along with the release of the new album, which is available for streaming in its entirety.
October 29, 2012 Tomorrow marks a week since Stone Sour's fourth studio album House of Gold & Bones Part 1 hit stores and its first single "Gone Sovereign" has been out for weeks now. The official music video has also debuted. Last night was the first of two nights of the band's hometown CD-release show in Des Moines, Iowa, and they performed the brand new track in front of their closest homegrown fans. October 28, 2012 Last month I excitedly wrote about the coming of 'Reborn,' the fifth studio album by Trapt that was set for a November 20 release. Today the music world got word that for unknown reasons the band has decided to push back the release date until early next year.
June 29, 2012 On Wednesday night I had the pleasure of going to see a band called Flame at Freedom Park in Scotia. The thing that intrigued me about this band was that there were ten members, all with some sort of physical or mental handicap. They play only cover songs but were very cohesive and impressive.
