It has been nine months since Texas rock quintet Flyleaf said goodbye to original singer Lacey Sturm, who left the band to pursue being a mother to her young son. They have since welcomed front woman Kristen May, who has been successfully filling the void and leads the group to their upcoming co-headlining tour with P.O.D. which kicks off next month. Not only is Flyleaf playing alongside the California metallers, they have also collaborated with front man Sonny Sandoval to perfect their newest tune "Something Better." Listen below!

The new track comes off the band's upcoming EP Who We Are, due out July 9. The album features the new addition along with Flyleaf classics, re-done by May. The newly-fronted group seem to have a tight grip on exactly who they are, as this will be their first release as a revamped band and second release overall in less than a year, as New Horizons, released in 2012 was the last effort featuring Sturm.

Who We Are was produced by Howard Benson. Listen to "Something Better" here.

The Flyleaf/P.O.D. tour begins in Kenosha, Wisconsin on July 13 and concludes in San Diego, California on August 10.
