The Streak Is Over

Can you believe it? It didn’t really sink in with me until today. I think that’s because last night’s game really didn’t mean anything to the Vikings, but wow!! It’s finally over! 

I know a lot of people (including myself) have gotten tired of Brett’s uncertainty of retirement and whatnot, but deep down, I was always kind of hoping that he’d be throwing the ball around when he was 50. Knowing that his starting streak is over, I can’t help but feel that a permanent retirement is in the near future. As a football player, I will miss him when he's gone. Even if he did text a picture of his wee-wee to that reporter.
