It was a big weekend for the folks over at NASA. After nearly a year in space, the shuttle carrying the latest Mars rover landed successfully.

Imagine being a legend and hero even before your death- Sally Ride was the epitome of this. She died Monday morning and will forever go down in history as the first American woman in space.

Many think that it was a conspiracy that humans walked on the moon.  Some claim it was all a setup in a warehouse to help drive national pride.  Thanks to modern technology there is now proof that man walked on the moon, from high definition photos taken by NASA's new Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter that is currently circling the moon.  See some of the photos now.

A few days ago the Sun fired off two huge solar flares that are going to reach Earth at some point on Thursday.  It will most likely shake things up a bit, but the world is not ending.

When I was growing up there was only two things I wanted to be more than anything. That was either a space man or a bird! This at least gets me close to one.

An American Satellite has been tumbling since its mission ended in 2005.  NASA’s 6.5 ton Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, or UARS,  is most likely to re-renter Earth's atmosphere and crash apart this Afternoon. Where will it crash land?

The answer is surprisingly yes.  The problem is that scientists have no idea where or when a now decommissioned  science satellite will hit our planet.

A woman was recently busted for trying to score 1.7 million dollars from selling a rare moon rock.  Instead of cash, the woman got a heap of trouble when the customer turned out to be a NASA investigator.

NASA's space shuttle Endeavor lifted-off for the last time this morning in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Little is known about the surface of the 1st planet in our solar system. One thing we do know, is that when you stand on the day side, the Sun is hot enough to melt lead. That right there is a bad sunburn waiting to happen. But the Messenger spacecraft is now in orbit above Mercury taking photos and giving us a new look at the 1st Rock from the Sun.

I guess those Astronauts really know how to party.
