Limp Bizkit's next stage of their career has had a few stops and starts, and things are ready to start up again next month. Singer Fred Durst revealed via Twitter that things are coming along with the wealth of material that may end up being one or potentially two records. Plus, there's a new single and video for a track called 'Pain' that may be arriving soon.

Limp Bizkit have done plenty of touring in recent years, but it’s been noticeable that the group haven’t played very much in the United States. Singer Fred Durst tells Kerrang! that a good reason for that was the band realizing that American audiences had moved on.

It’s no surprise Twitter has been an outlet for musicians to express their thoughts and directly communicate with their fans. So, when Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland let some of his tweeting out, he had some candid words to say via Twitter about former bandmate DJ Lethal.

Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst loves his fans, but up to a certain point. During a show in Moscow on Tuesday night (June 5), the wrath of Durst was witnessed by an audience of thousands.

Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland is speaking up about the recent news that DJ Lethal and drummer John Otto are on their way out — saying that nothing is final as of yet and asking fans to take it easy on Fred Durst over the messy situation.

That's hard to believe. I never did and never will consider the Fred Durst-fronted quintet metal. His earlier days were spent making rap and hip hop, and then he slowly turns to rock and metal? I'm not buying it. You should stay in the genre you start out as. Despite my little opinions though Durst has just announced that the band will be making the heaviest metal record of all time.

Van Halen has a new album on the way and in September they were set to begin playing live gigs again starting in Australia.  Now those dates have been cancelled and it looks like Limp Bizkit is to blame.
