According to a press release from the New York State Police, several cars tried to drive through flooded roadways recently at the W. Averell State Office and were disabled.

Heavy Rain is causing evacuations in the village of Middleburgh, the village of Schoharie, the town of Broome, the town of Blenheim, as well as Prattsville in Greene County. Residents of low-lying areas are advised to evacuate to higher ground. If you are in these areas, please contact your fire department to receive emergency information.
