Heavy Rain Causes Evacutions Around Albany Area

Heavy Rain is causing evacuations  in the village of Middleburgh, the village of Schoharie, the town of Broome, the town of Blenheim, as well as Prattsville in Greene County.  Residents of low-lying areas are advised to evacuate to higher ground.   If you are in these areas, please contact your fire department to receive emergency information.  Three Disaster Recover Centers are currently closed due to the weather and safety concerns. They include the Holiday Inn Express location in Schoharie, Prattsville Town Hall and the Belleayre Mountain Ski Area in Pine Hill.
