It was announced earlier this month that Dream Theater singer James LaBrie will be releasing his third solo album 'Impermanent Resonance' on Aug. 6. Now the track listing has been unveiled along with the opening track 'Agony' (listen above).

Though there had been talk of a spring release, Dream Theater have nailed down a Nov. 5 street date for their upcoming concert video, 'Live At Luna Park.' The group decided to share the experience of performing for their large South American fan base during two special nights in Bueno Aires, Argentina last year.

In a series of Twitter Q&A videos, Dream Theater bassist John Myung answered a question from a fan about when the band's next album would be released (watch below).

Dream Theater's fans are a dedicated bunch and the love definitely goes both ways. Dream Theater have done their part, and will now wait for the editors to complete their work on a new upcoming live DVD that’s expected to arrive in 2013. The group played Buenos Aires, Argentina last Sunday and Monday (Aug. 19 and 20) at Estadio Luna Park to provide the basis for the upcoming release.

Yeah we have quite a few concert tickets to give away tonight at Savannah's.

It has been a week since Apple founder Steve Jobs passed away at age 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.  Many musicians and entertainers took to social media posting their thoughts.  Dream Theater keyboard player Jordan Russ created a musical tribute on a iPad using MorphWiz, along with the Korg Kronos.  Dream Theater will be in Albany Saturday night.

Mike Portnoy was on this weekends episode of That Metal Show on VH1 Classic.  While he on they of course had to bring up the subject of his former band Dream Theater and what it's like to see them go on without him.
