It has been a week since Apple founder Steve Jobs passed away at age 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.  Many musicians and entertainers took to social media posting their thoughts.  Dream Theater keyboard player Jordan Russ created a musical tribute on a iPad using MorphWiz, along with the Korg Kronos.  Dream Theater will be in Albany Saturday night.

“Although I never met Steve Jobs personally, his work greatly influenced my life and my work,” says Rudess. “I'm grateful to have been touched by his wizardry, and that he shared his vision with all of us. This is a song I wrote for my own iOS instrument called “MorphWiz,” and is a tribute to an amazing and inspirational human being.”

Dream Theater will be at the Palace Theater Saturday night in support of their new album "A Dramatic Turn of Events". Tickets are still available at the Palace Theater Box Office, all ticketmaster locations or charge by phone.
