I was sitting on the couch with the fiance', watching the news when the announcement was made. Steve Jobs is stepping down as CEO of Apple. My jaw hit the floor and I proceeded to to wonder where it would all go from there. The frenzy and chaos. Cats and dogs living together, MASS HYSTERIA! Then I realized, it's just Steve being Steve.

Back in June, possessions belonging to the notorious Ponzi-schemer Bernie Madoff were auctioned off, with the proceeds going towards his victims. Among the books, chairs, and Rolex watches were his pricey clothes, many of which were purchased by entrepreneur John Vaccaro, who has turned Madoff’s cashmere sweaters and designer pants into iPad cases.

After 8 years and thousands and thousands of songs sold, Walmart has succumbed to the power of the number 1 and 2 online music retailers in the world. They announced that on August 28th, 2011, they will start the process of closing down the online store. But if you bought music from Walmart's online store, there you're not 100% out in the cold.

If you've been to New York City, you've seen the guys on street corners selling bootlegs of everything from watches to movies. Obviously, those products are not the real deal. But in China, there has been a growing number of fake Apple Stores popping up and then being torn down.

Yesterday was the start of Apple's World Wide Developer Conference, where software developers for the Mac converge on San Fransisco, to discuss their projects with Apple engineers to get help as well as tweak software for the Mac and iOS platforms. It is also usually a day when Apple announces something new, and sure enough, they did.

There’s an old adage that “Everything old is new again.” Take a look at fashion and the reboots of TV shows and movies. It almost like we’re all stuck in a rut for a good new idea. Amazon now seems to be in that group too with their Cloud Drive service.

Today Steve Jobs and Apple revealed the i-Pad 2, a new thinner, faster, slicker, trimmer, tablet.  Complete with a front facing camera, and a much faster processor.

Nintendo's newest hand-held gaming device- the Nintendo 3DS- is gracing stores with its presence on March 27, 2011. When you go to pick up your DS, you'll have a plethora of 18 games to choose from to start you off. The downfall: all of the games are just a bit more expensive, but for good reason.
