After close to two months of voting by fans and being judged on musicianship, originality, ability to draw, songwriting, and vocal ability, three local unsigned bands have been selected to perform at the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands Friday August 24th at Savannahs in downtown Albany. The winning band will open Q-Ruption, find out who they are.

The Q103 Q-Ruption is the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, it's the biggest rock festival on the east coast and will be erupting on Labor Day weekend, September 1st beginning at 1:30pm. Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelita's Way and many others will be performing on 3 stages. A unsigned local band will also play the Q-Ruption stage but they will have to battle it out. More than 25 bands from the Capital Region have entered this bad ass contest, find out who they are and where they stand.
