Shemane Nugent, the 51-year-old wife of rocker Ted Nugent, says she forgot about the loaded revolver in her luggage as she attempted to get through security at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport on Aug. 29. She said she was carrying the gun for protection because she had received death threats.

Ted Nugent's wife Shemane was reportedly arrested earlier today (Aug. 29) for allegedly attempting to bring a firearm through an airport security checkpoint.

Ted Nugent will release a new live album on Oct. 22 featuring Derek St. Holmes, who sang in the Motor City Madman's band from 1975 to 1978. 'Ultralive Ballisticrock' marks Nugent's first live album since 2009's 'Motor City Mayhem.'

On Thursday (July 18), the city of Detroit filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection, with more than $18 billion in debt. One of its most famous native sons, rocker Ted Nugent, has taken aim at those whom he feels is responsible for the city's long-standing financial woes.
