Steel Panther is best known as the over-the-top, excessive spandex wearing, innuendo rock gods that have given us many classics including "Community Property", "Death To All But Metal" and the Styles household favorite "Sexy Santa." "Sexy Santa" comes in at #3 on The Styles List: Top 5 Christmas Songs That Don't Suck.

It took a few years, but Steel Panther are now ready to make the move from the Sunset Strip into your living room. The band has officially finished their first DVD and it will be ready for your viewing pleasure Oct. 22 in all its bombastic glory.

This year’s Download Festival hosted a ton of great moments, including one of only three performances Black Sabbath are playing this year. One of the other highlights of the fest proved to be when Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman joined Steel Panther onstage for a performance of ‘Death to All But Metal.’

The classic Christmas song "12 Days of Christmas" has been covered and re-done numerous times for the past 50 years, but never like the version below, done by old school glam metal band Steel Panther. They turn golden rings into golden showers and drummers into strippers, and that's not all. Watch the video after the jump.

I don’t know if I ever thought of The Darkness as having any member that would be considered to be near a ‘Super-group’ level. I always kind of thought they were more of joke like Steel Panther or something. But to some, they are loved.

40 bands in 3 days!  Its called "Rock On The Range" America's Rock Festival and featured a who's who in the rock world.  There were many great performances.  Alter Bridge, Hollywood undead, and Escape the Fate rocked Columbus Ohio but fell short to these five bands of top performers for the weekend.
