May 23, 2012 I only got to see about five or six performances at last weekend's Rock on the Range, but my two favorites by far were Shinedown and Slash, who made the entire trip just that much better!

Shinedown have had much success with their latest album ‘Amaryllis,’ which includes their radio hit ‘Bully’ and the new single ‘Unity.’ Loudwire had the chance to catch up with the band’s guitarist Zach Myers backstage at Rock on the Range today (May 19) and he talked about the songwriting process for the album.

April 12, 2012 It's been about two weeks since Shinedown released their highly successful fourth studio album, Amaryllis, which sold 106,000 copies in its first week, and debuted at the no. 4 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Along with the album came an e-book titled For Your Sake: Inside the Making of Amaryllis. Today, a two-minute video of front man Brent giving fans a tour of the e-book was released.
Watch out Madge, Shinedown is coming for ya! With the release of their latest disc ‘Amaryllis,’ Shinedown debuted in the No. 4 slot on the Billboard 200 — marking their highest chart debut to date. Who knows? Maybe next week they can uproot the ‘Material Girl’ herself and replace Madonna in the top slot overall helping rock reign supreme!

Shinedown releases their new album 'Amaryllis" on Tuesday. They are also releasing an interactive e-book to go along with it today called "FOR YOUR SAKE: Inside the Making of Shinedown’s Amaryllis". This is the first ever e-Book by a major recording artist to use Apple's iBook 2 platform.
