We have got some pretty nice pieces that could be added to your collection this Record Store Day ...

Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica.

While here at the Q we totally support the Record Store Day mission statement the sad truth is that the number of physical record stores nowadays are severely diminishing. In fact the closest record store to the Capital Region that is participating in this years Record Store Day is John Doe Records in Hudson, nearly 50 miles from Albany.

So we decided that this Record Store Day we were going to join in on the celebration and help spread the joy of vinyl. This Saturday, April 21st (a.k.a. Record Store Day) rock out with the Q while signing yourself up to score some killer records on us! Records from the likes of the Doors, Hollywood Vampires, Bob Seger, Rush, Guns and Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, STYX, Shinedown, and Mastadon!

Looking to get yourself signed up to WIN? You can click HERE to get in on that beginning at midnight on Saturday, April 21st until 11:59pm!
