Last night was the grand finale of Q103's Play for the Stage at Savannah's in Albany, and finalists Tamerlane, Selfish Needy Creatures and Pipebomb all performed for a second time to win the ultimate prize and opportunity- to open for Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Skillet, Sick Puppies and Egypt Central at next weeks Q-Ruption. This past Friday, round two of Q-Ruption's Play for the Stage took place at Savannah's on South Pearl Street in Albany. The Hearing Aides, Tamerlane and Potter's Field all competed and played for 20 minutes to win a chance at the finals later in the month. Last week, Pipebomb was the big winner. Darla Cherry of Mechanicville got the concert experience of a lifetime.  She rode the 360 degree Drum Kit Roller Coaster with Tommy Lee from Motley Crue.  The Crue played SPAC on Saturday night and right after 'Same Ole Situation' Darla was strapped in.  See the video.
