Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Beastie Boys and Green Day kept the five-and-a-half-hour Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions party hopping last night (April 14) at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. The show, which sold out, also brought in a full house of fans around the corner at the actual Rock Hall, which was having its own party showing the concert on various screens throughout the Museum

The Beastie Boys’ Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction was appropriately raucous, although somewhat bittersweet: Although Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz), Mike D (Michael Diamond) and their long-time DJ Mix Master Mike appeared at the ceremony, Adam Yauch (aka MCA) was unable to attend.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has mailed out the ballots for its 27th annual list of potential inductees, leaving it to the organization’s 500 voters to pick the winners from an eclectic group that includes first-time nominees as well as returning contenders. Newly eligible artists who made this year’s cut include Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Guns N’ Roses, Heart, and Eric B. & Rakim, while

It's another strange and lengthy piece, that makes you think your watching Robot Chicken. It's interesting though. And it kind of makes you wonder the Beasties next move is. I don't know what it could be, but something about these short film like videos makes me think that they will be doing more than music soon...
