Former Kansas City Chief, U Albany star and Hudson High School's own, Rashad Barksdale,  will be back in the 518 next Friday to host a celebrity basketball game - and he's bringing some friends.

Rashad Barksdale will be hosting the "Run This Town" celebrity basketball game and three on three tournament at the Hudson High School Friday night, March 2nd and the following morning.  The celebrity game will take place at 7:00 PM Friday night.  BJ and I will be down in Hudson covering the event for you but for just $5 you can get in on the action with a few NFL stars.

Along side Rashad, scheduled to appear for the celebrity basketball game:

Dominique Rodgers Cromartie-Philadelphia Eagles

Bernard Pollard- Baltimore Ravens

Dion Lewis- Philadelphia- Ealges - From Albany!

Rashad, who graduated from Hudson and became the first player ever out of U Albany to make it to the NFL, hasn't forgotten where he came from.  The $5 per ticket money will be headed to his "It's Ok to Dream" foundation. The foundation helps provides scholarships for Hudson High students entering their first year of college as well as various youth organizations.

If you want to play in the three on three tournament the following morning, you can also sign up during the celebrity game.  The tournament on March 3rd will start at 9am for youth 11am for adults.

If you're not familiar with the area, Hudson is about an hour south of Albany.  Punch in: 215 Harry Howard Avenue Hudson, NY 12534, right into your GPS come on out this Friday night.  Where else can you help kids go to college and watch NFL stars play basketball in a high school gym for just five bucks?
