We’ve all heard of skinny jeans, but what about the fat ones? You know… the ones we wear when we’re a little heavier than we like to be.

I did great all winter avoiding putting on that ‘winter weight’ that we sometimes put on thru the cold months of the year. I never added more than 3-5 pounds all winter long. Then when it finally started to warm up around here, somehow I managed to pile on a solid 10 lbs. It doesn’t make much sense, but it happened.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve considered myself to be on the ‘heavy side’, and I remember last fall looking at some of my clothes and saying “I’ll never fit into these again.” So, I made a trip down to the Salvation Army and dropped off a garbage bag full of clothes. Fortunately, I decided to hold a few pairs of jeans saying “Just in case”. Well, just in case, looked me square in the face and hear I am wearing some jeans that I haven’t worn in a couple years. Thank God I held on to a few pairs. Otherwise I’d dropping a couple hundred on jeans that I’ll probably only wear for a couple of weeks until I get back to where I like to be. As they say, it’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Btw, I don't know who that is in the picture, but thankfully it's not me!
