Breastfeeding Military Moms Picture Stirs Controversy

An issue that will most likely never be resolved is breastfeeding in public.  It's a pretty split subject at the moment.  Many mothers believe that they should be allowed to feed their babies that natural way where ever they are.  Many believe it should be done in private.

According a to a poll we took at the beginning of this year, 84% of Q103 listeners believe women should be able to breastfeed in public.  Right now a picture featuring two military Moms is causing controversy, but not for the reason you think.  People are outraged because the women are doing it in their uniforms, which they think is disrespectful.

The photo is all part of an awareness campaign by group Mom2Mom of the Fairfield Air Force Base.  It's a division of the nationally known Mom2Mom breastfeeding support group.   So is this photo really that big a deal?
