Albany Mother Leaves Baby In Car To Run Into Kohl’s

People are unbelievable. Years and years of hearing about the dangers of leaving your children in a car unattended on a hot day, and this Mother decided to go ahead and try her luck.

An Albany area Mother is in some big trouble after leaving her baby in her car on a hot day. According to WTEN, Colonie police say that Jodi Hebert left her child in the car in the Kohl's plaza for ten minutes.

As if leaving your child in the car unattended was bad enough, they also said that she left the windows down, giving anyone access to the child. Hebert is charged with reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Let's finish this off by saying that the child is fine, thank god. So what exactly was this woman thinking laving the baby in the car all alone?

You hear horror stories about this sort of thing all the time. When the temperatures reach into the 80's and 90's, the temperature in your car can push near 100. That's enough to do some serious damage. Who knows how many times she's done this before. At 43 years-old, you would think this woman would know better.
