Producers and location scouts have been scouring Dutchess County looking for a house as the primary location for a big film being shot there in 2021.

The Amazon Prime hit show, "Modern Love" is shutting down a few streets in Troy for filming Monday, September 21st through Wednesday, September 23rd.

The Capital Region streak as a setting for movies and television continues on! It looks like a new romantic comedy was filming in Troy- an area that has seen a number of films and tv film there in the past year or so.  The Times Union reports the movie name as "Silent Retreat"...

If you and your family always wanted to be on a game show together, this could be your big break. There is a casting call for family and friends to be on a new game show called "Don't".

Do you or someone you know look like you could be a member of the Gambino or Genovese family? If so you could be featured in a new mobster flick starring David Arquette.

First, it was Marvel's The Punisher season two coming to Albany but now there's a rumor floating around about another very popular television show coming to the area and this time there's evidence!

Oh man there is going to be some serious action going down in Albany next week! Thankfully this time around it is going to be pretend.

You will need to be a fairly clean canvas (if you know what I'm saying) for a chance to be in this one though.

Not only is Ben Stiller's Dannemora Prison Escape series a go for Showtime but he's got a pretty solid cast lined up as well!

Attention Game of Thrones fans ... Arya Stark is in the Capital Region!

And it looks like his family might have some roots in the area!

Be prepared for a number of main streets to be closed off in Schenectady today, as the local film The Place Beyond the Pines, starring Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper will continue filming. Plan to get detoured to back and side streets, and give yourself extra time to arrive to your destinations. Oh, and try and get a glimpse of the stars for me!
