Hopefully I contained my excitement enough.

So I've been doing a lot of interviews lately. Typically, a time is set up, and a record person calls me and connects me with a rock star. Lately, rock stars have been calling me, which has surprised me, but this one takes the cake. I had to call Neil Fallon, and for some reason, that made me go all fanboy.

I've been listening to Clutch since I found out about them in high school. That's also when I started going to Clutch shows. A very skinny friend of mine always wanted the set list after the show. So we would push our way up to in front of the stage and wage through the entire Clutch set. Mosh pits would form around us, I would inevitably get kicked in the head by a crowd surfer, but that's rock man, and we had a prize to claim.

At this point you're one of two people. Someone who is already going to Clutch this Saturday at the Upstate Concert Hall, in which case you should listen to this interview, because it's Neil fricken Fallon and you want to know what he's thinking. Otherwise you're someone who has yet to experience Clutch, in which case you should listen to the interview and learn why you absolutely need to see Clutch this Saturday night.
