The other day Avenged Sevenfold’s guitarist Zacky Vengeance came on the program to talk with me about their latest album “Hail to the King”. As we got to talking we broke down the meaning behind the latest release and Zacky even opened up to me about his lifelong struggles as a left handed freak. Maybe he didn’t exactly use the term freak, but I could since it in his tone. Avenged Sevenfold had just recently came back from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and we discuss the lack of clothing that the Brazilian people seem to wear. Check out the audio from my latest interview with Zacky Vengence now.

“That’s the great part about it, it’s open for interpretation. We have a few secret idea’s that we can’t give away.”

“I would say the best way is to ‘hail’ your self”.

“It’s so much fun to play man, and it was really written to be played on the stage.”

“…I sat on my balcony and looked down the street and I think every guy was wearing speedos and every girl was wearing next to nothing...”

“Learning to write was a nightmare…”  - Zacky Vengeance, Avenged Sevenfold

PS: How spot on is my drawing of the Avenged Sevenfold logo? I know it's totally Rad, but do you think the dudes in A7X will want to use it for their next album cover?
