Seether formed out of Johannesburg, South Africa in 1999 and were heavily influenced by American grunge bands like Nirvana and Alice in Chains, along with bands like Deftones and Nine Inch Nails. The band gained popularity in 2002 with the number rock single "Fine Again" and later on in 2004 with the song "Broken". Other successful singles include "Remedy", "Fake It", "Country Song", and "Words as Weapons". A new album entitled Poison the Parish is set to be released May 12 on singer Shaun Morgan's label Canine Riot Records. Donn'y miss Seether's Capital Region return in May!
