Van Halen Announces Tour and New Album

Van Halen has announced plans for a tour starting in Australia and a new album in 2011 with David Lee Roth.  The album will be their first with Dave since 1984.   

Van Halen will headline the Soundwave Revolution - a annual music festival held in and around Australia.  Also appearing with Van Halen on the festival include; Alice Cooper, Machine Head, Danzig, Bad Religion, Alter Bridge, Versa Emerge, Sisters of Mercy and The Pretty Reckless and many more.

The dates for the  Soundwave Revolution 2011 are;

Sept 24 – Brisbane
Sept 25 – Sydney
Sept 30 – Melbourne
Oct 1 – Adelaide
Oct 3 – Perth

A Van Halen album with David Lee Roth as the front man will also be coming out in 2011.   It's close to being done now as they are in the mix down process right now.
