An Upstate NY native's dream came true at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia, PA last night.

Evan Kentile from Clayville, NY is not your average 21-year-old. At just 12 weeks old, Kentile received a heart transplant that, while extremely risky, ultimately saved his life. But life hasn't exactly been normal for Evan since.

Evan has endured countless surgeries in his life, and Green Day was always one of the constants that got him through the toughest of times. Evan's mother, Judy Kentile, says on the video's Facebook thread "Sometimes sick kids unfortunately aren't treated the best in High School, and Green Day was his refuge." For someone like Evan, a memory like this holds so much weight.

Billie Joe Armstrong points out Evan in the crowd and motions for him to join the band onstage. Once onstage, Kentile belts out the lyrics to "Know Your Enemy" next to Billie Joe, and even excitedly grabs the mic all for himself.

Armstrong then walked Evan to the edge of the crowd and set him up to go crowd surfing. Oh, by the way, this was Kentile's first-ever concert experience. We're so glad Green Day went out of their way to make one special fan feel like he was the rock star for a night.
