Dig this scenario: you and your spouse are friends with another married couple. Your spouse leaves you to run off and re-marry your friend from that couple. That's what this newly married couple did and they had their full story published in The New York Times.
The story raised a lot of eyebrows and have been getting a lot of attention, it even made it to the Today show:
The statistics for divorce now run 50/50. 50% of marriages end in divorce. In our culture, do our wedding vows even mean anything to us anymore? Well, the numbers seem to tell us that they mean something to half of us at least. I'm no wedding therapist, but perhaps we're watching too many romantic movies.
