Kids everywhere are being ripped away from the freedom of summer and headed back to both school and college. Sometimes I am very happy that I don't have to deal with that anymore. Other times there are certain aspects of both that I miss. Unfortunately at some point we all have to grow up and move on. Lucky for us though, there are some great videos from the past and present that let us relive the glory days. Let's take a look.

Escape The Fate - Situations

The video is a take on the classic "Hot for Teacher" video by Van Halen (which will make an appearance later on). This is the ETF lineup that was my favorite. Too bad the lead singer was so prone to getting into trouble. At least they made us this awesome video before they parted ways.

Britny Fox - Girlschool

Like all the classic glam-metal videos of the 80's it showcases the band on stage as if they were in concert. It also has has a bunch of school girls dancing around in uniform, and we all love that.

Deftones - Back To School (Mini Miggit)

It was a song that no one in the band particularly liked, but they put it out anyway. I don't think it's bad, but it's not the Deftones we all know and love. Kick ass video though.

Night Ranger - Sister Christian

A song written from drummer Kelly Keagy's teenage sister who was growing up so fast. The video starts at graduation day and works it's way back. I don't think there is anyone among us who won't start singing along at the chorus.

The Ramones - Rock N Roll High School

The punk rockers anthem to the drags of school. I mean it literally was the soundtrack to the movie "Rock N Roll High School" which starred The Ramones.

My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise)

This is one of my favorite songs by this group and to top it off they also made a really cool video to go along with it. The on going battle between jocks and anyone who isn't one.

The Police - Don't Stand So Close To Me

Ahhh the classic situation of a hot and bothered school girl in love with her teacher. It never gets old does it?

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

The anti pep rally. This video is so awesome that to this day I still love watching it from start to finish. Weird Al's take on it isn't too shabby either.

Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock

Twisted Sister were the kings of the teenage rebellion anthem. "I Wanna Rock" is the ultimate shut up and crank the music song. I use to wish Dee Snider would show up at my school. Now that would of been awesome.

Van Halen - Hot For Teacher

Clearly the number one back to school video. One of the greatest rock songs, with one awesome video to go along with it. I love the little kids as the members of the band, the hot stripper teachers and the choreographed dance scene that everyone bu Alex Van Halen could get down.
