2014 is turning into a special year for Maynard James Keenan. The singer recently revealed that two of his bands -- Puscifer and A Perfect Circle -- will perform a special show to mark his 50th birthday. Now comes word that Keenan's third band, Tool, will also get some stage time in 2014.

Maynard James Keenan took a bit of time off his seemingly never-ending work schedule to help train high school wrestlers for a tournament. Keenan, a member of Mason County Central High School's 1982 class, aided 16 wrestlers in preparing for the Optimist Tournament in Scottville, Mich.

It has been seven years since Tool last gave us their last album, ‘10,000 Days,' which fans are hoping is not an indicator of how long they will have to wait before another one hits the shelves. There have been sporadic updates from members and the band's website and now singer Maynard James Keenan has given an update on the progress from where he stands.
