Papa Roach just enjoyed one last full blast of sunlight, performing as part of the ShipRocked Cruise. Those memories will have to last for a while as the band immediately went from fun and sun to the intimate confines of a recording studio.

The vocalist successfully underwent vocal cord surgery last year and in a new statement regarding Papa Roach's South American cancellations, Shaddix "prays to God" that he won't be victim to a second surgery.

Last week, Carnival of Madness revealed the arsenal of rock bands that will head up their 2013 trek including Shinedown, Papa Roach, Skillet, In This Moment and We as Human. Now, the first leg of dates and locations have been unveiled. As Sick Puppies gear up for the release of their upcoming 'Connect' album, they're finding a lot of love for their music and that includes a very public nod of support from longtime pal and Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix.

Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix has seen his fair share of hard times, but out of the darkness, he's still maintained a sense of optimism and that shines through particularly strong within the band's latest single, 'Leader of the Broken Hearts.' That light in the dark is exactly what's at the heart of the band's new video for the track.

Papa Roach are fresh off a tour with Stone Sour, and now they're ready to take the headlining spot all for themselves with 'The Connection' tour. The trek will also feature Escape the Fate and Otherwise burning up stages across the United States.

Papa Roach are happily back on the road after several stops and starts this year while vocalist Jacoby Shaddix was determining whether vocal surgery would be necessary.
