P.O.D. and Flyleaf will hook up to rock stages across North America this summer. The two acts have just announced a monthlong co-headlining tour that will take them all over the U.S. beginning July 13 in Kenosha, Wis.

Shinedown and Three Days Grace may be co-headlining their current tour, but the third act on the bill isn't exactly your average opener. Veteran hard rock outfit P.O.D. has been playing alongside the two bands throughout both legs of their touring, making for a solid trifecta of rock acts. P.O.D. may be homers for the San Diego Chargers, but with their team out of the playoff picture, they'll travel to Atlanta this weekend to serve up some hard-hitting rock for those in attendance at the NFC Championship game. The rockers have been chosen as the halftime performers at the event, in part, due to the popularity of one of their tracks during Falcons football games.

Just a few weeks ago, Shinedown and Three Days Grace announced the first leg of a co-headlining U.S. tour that kicks off in February 2013. Now, the two bands have added a second leg of dates to the trek.

I had the great pleasure of talking on the phone with Brent Smith of Shinedown on November 20th as the band takes a much deserved break for the holidays. We talk about the up coming tour in 2013 with Three Days Grace & POD, spending the holiday with family, the new video for "I Will Follow", along with looking back at the 10 years since their debut album.

San Diego, California-based band P.O.D, or Payable on Death visited with me and got right into the topic of religion and how they are negatively labeled a "Christian rock" band.

P.O.D. have announced dates for a 2012 U.S tour that will see the group co-headlining several dates with RED. Select shows will also feature Brian ‘Head’ Welch’s band Love & Death and the group Icon for Hire as supporting acts.

The band P.O.D. otherwise known as Payable On Death would like one of their fans to design a new logo for them.  The band will use the new design on their forthcoming album. The winner will also receive $500 as well as VIP tickets to the show of their choice and exposure on the bands social media outlets.
