On November 1st North America will get a taste of two music giants forged together as one beast of the industry. Metallica and Lou Reed will put out their collaborative album Lulu and they are saying that live shows may not be out of the question.
Metallica has played all around the world, and they are getting set to play India for the first time ever in their career. The only problem is the show might not happen because a crucial step was skipped when organizing the event.
Musically, these kids called ‘Mini Band’ are quite impressive. I think they would be better if they had a singer who was a little more like ‘Froggy’ from the Little Rascals though.
When CJ Ramone was approached a decade ago about possibly replacing Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, he declined the chance even though he took Dee Dee Ramone’s spot in the final years of the legendary punk band the Ramones.
Ramone’s reason was simple: Touring with the metal band would not have been beneficial to his family, specifically his son Liam, who had been diagnosed with autism.

Before the bands from the Big Four took the stage at Yankee Stadium earlier this week they sat down to talk about the rivalries, if any, that went on during the 1980's.
One of the things that has been going on at the end of Metallica's set at the Big Four gigs is that they bring out members of Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer to jam on a track they all love. They all did a version of the Misfits "Die, Die My Darling" and this time they decided to rock out to some Motorhead. It looks like some listener shot footage from the show at Yankee Stadium, but the quality is ok. So if you didn't get to be there, live vicariously through this.
