A couple of days ago, we told you rumor had it that the 2012 Lollapalooza lineup would feature Red Hot Chili Peppers and Black Sabbath — and now we can confirm that the rumors were right on the money. This year’s list of acts has been unveiled, and it’s a doozy.

The 2012 Lollapalooza lineup isn’t supposed to be formally announced until Wednesday, but a rumored lineup surfaced over the weekend. According to the document, Black Sabbath, the Black Keys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jack White would headline the event.

The legendary rock ‘n’ roll festival Lollapalloza is headed to South America for the second time next spring, and Foo Fighters have signed on to headline.
