It just doesn't pay to gnaw on the arm of a random stranger anymore.

Police have apprehended the man who allegedly bit a Lollapalooza attendee on the arm in what's been referred to as a "zombie" attack during the Arctic Monkeys' set on Aug. 1 in Chicago's Grant Park. Red Eye Chicago reports city resident Sergio Vicenteno, 33, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery at a public venue and arraigned Thursday (Aug. 21) with bail set at $60,000.

Ben Lenet, 29, also of Chicago, reported that he and a friend were victims of an unprovoked attack during the concert. He wrote in a Reddit post: “Suddenly, I turn around and some guy none of us have ever seen or spoken to, without warning, body slams my friend and begins using his hands to choke him.”

Lenet said he and his friends began fighting back, but as he tried to pull the assailant away, he was bitten on his arm for about five seconds. “He’s not biting me,” he told the Sun-Times. “He’s clearly trying to bite through me.”

Lenet posted graphic photos of the injury here. He was rushed to an area hospital where he was given a tetanus shot and preventive treatment for HIV and hepatitis.
