The moment that many have been waiting for on the Carnival of Madness tour finally came to fruition Saturday night (Aug. 18) in El Paso, as Evanescence‘s Amy Lee and Halestorm‘s Lzzy Hale united their powerful voices together on one song.

With the news that my future wife, Lzzy Hale, is coming to Q-103  for our latest Garage Session, I have been rocking out to Halestorm tunes all weekend.  Check out my five favorite tunes that Lzzy wrote for me!  Well, that's what I tell myself anyway.

Anyone who’s ever seen Arejay Hale play drums with his band Halestorm knows that he takes on a passion and ferocity that’s hard to put words to. With that in mind, some fans have taken to comparing him to a character from the Muppets – the lovable, hard to contain, drumstick wielding Animal.

As Halestorm’s stock continues to rise with the release of their latest disc ‘The Strange Case Of…,’ the band is on a nonstop road trip bringing their live show to fans across the country. Kerrang! magazine just named Lzzy Hale from the band Halestorm as the 6th greatest Rockstar in the world. Lzzy was also the highest ranking woman on the list which makes her Kerrang!'s Top frontwoman performing today!

Lzzy Hale is standing out in the male dominated world of hard rock and metal, and in the process the Halestorm singer is paving the way for more women to follow.

One band that we have had the pleasure to watch grow up before our eyes is Halestorm.  They are returning to Albany August 31st.

With their new disc ‘The Strange Case Of…’ blazing up the charts, recently wrapping up the Mass Chaos tour with Godsmack and Staind and currently preparing for the Carnival of Madness tour to kick off later this summer, it’s no surprise that fans are enamored by Halestorm and their music, but according to Lzzy Hale, it’s a two way street.
