The FDA have expanded their recall of certain lots of Sportmix pet food. The Food and Drug Administration enacted the recall due to potentially fatal levels of Aflatoxin, which are poisonous carcinogens that are produced by certain molds which grown in soil, on corn and on other grains. Within the last 24 hours that recall has been expanded.

According to News 10 abc, the FDA has ordered a Las Vegas company to pull it's Kratom herbal supplements off of the market.  The reason for this being that they tested positive for Salmonella.  Apparently there's a nationwide outbreak with up to 90 cases of Salmonella related to Kratom, and according to News 10 abc, the FDA had to intervene as a result of one particular manufacturing pharmaceutica
