March 12, 2013 So, In This Moment were here last Summer weren't they? I remember laughing, singing, dancing and throwing a few punches. Ok, so I wasn't throwing punches but trust me, it happened. Oh, we also drank beers and had an f-n blast.
So many shows.. where is the best place or venue to see them?
2011 was a great year for the rock music concert fan as over 25 rock shows came thru the Albany area. There were big shows like Avenged Sevenfold and the Music As A Weapon Tour, club shows like Alter Bridge and Seether, small intimate shows like Sully Erna and Chris Cornell at the Egg. Q103 produced some big radio shows like Q-Ruption starring Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch plus the Thanskgiving Hangover with Staind. So which one was your favorite?
Even if you didn’t enter this contest, you should definitely check to see if it’s someone you know so you can try and get first dibs on some great rock shows.

Summer is a wonderful time for concerts everywhere. We here in the Albany area are fortunate enough to have several places to check out some great shows and even some great spots to enjoy it in the great outdoors.
May 28, 2011 Get out your sunglasses, sun tan lotion and anything else that screams summer, because it's just around the corner! With the hottest season of the year comes parties, BBQ's, swimming and of course, concerts- outside and inside ones. SPAC is perhaps the biggest local venue for outside concerts, but Freedom Park, located in Collins Park in Scotia, is one that is often forgotten.
