A third person has died in the hit-and-run that occurred at SXSW on Thursday, according to a spokesperson from the Austin Police Department.

Last night, Sandy Thuy Le was pronounced dead. After being hit by the car during the incident, Le was in critical condition and kept at University Medical Center Brackenridge. The 26-year-old Mississippi native moved to Austin and intended to attend school there, according to the Dallas News.

Police arrested 21-year-old Rashad Charjuan Owens after he drove drunk down a one-way street in the wrong direction, hit people in his path and crashed into a crowd of SXSW attendees in front of the Mohawk at 12:30AM on March 13. He also tried to flee the scene before police finally arrested him. Owens is already charged with two counts of capital murder and multiple charges of aggrevated assault.

“The whole case will be presented to a Travis County Grand Jury, and they will determine what, if any, other charges will be added,” an Austin Police spokesperson told Rolling Stone.

There are still five people in the hospital because of the incident. Jamie West, a 27-year-old Austin local, and Steven Craenmehr, a 35-year-old creative director and sonic branding specialist at Massive Music in Amsterdam, were both pronounced dead following the hit-and run.
