This week sees Superchunk hop the Pond to play the UK’s All Tomorrow’s Parties at Camber Sands, but before they go the indie originals leave fans with a new video, created for ‘Void,’ the latest single from the Chapel Hill band’s tenth album, ‘I Hate Music.’

Directed by writer Scott Jacobson and starring actor Jon Benjamin, ‘Human Giant’s’ Jon Glaser, actor Ted Travelstead, as well as Superchunk themselves, the video features cameos from Ava Luna, Heliotropes, Lost Boy?, and Weird Womb. Shot in a club, the video is a touching, but hilarious spoof on aging hipsters hanging out, and trying to retain relevance to a scene. A touch of self-effacing autobiography perhaps?

Superchunk follows ATP with several dates in the UK. then they trek though Scandinavia before hitting Chicago, Jan. 18, for the Tomorrow Never Knows Festival at the Metro. The short US trek ends in February in the warmer climes of Texas.
