With anticipation building for Slash's new album 'World on Fire,' his band's takeover of Los Angeles' most iconic venues has been announced.

In celebration of Guitar Center's 50th anniversary, Slash and company will play three shows over the span of a week. The first show is at the Troubadour on Sept. 23, followed by the Roxy on Sept. 25 and the Whisky-a-Go-Go on Sept. 26.

“I’ve always admired Guitar Center’s commitment to artists,” says Slash. “They’re constantly creating new avenues for musicians to get their music out to fans and inspiring people to pick up an instrument and play. They’ve also been supportive of my career since the very beginning here on the Sunset Strip. I am happy to be a part of their 50th celebration.”

The show at the Roxy will be filmed for broadcast. The 90-minute concert special 'Live From the Roxy' will premiere on DirecTV's Audience Network on Nov. 9 at 8PM ET. Tickets for the shows will go on sale Aug. 1 at SlashOnline.com.

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are in the midst of the 'Let Rock Rule' tour with Aerosmith. The trek wraps up Sept. 12 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. After the Sunset Strip shows, the band heads to Europe in November. The 'World on Fire' album arrives Sept. 16 and is currently available for pre-order at both iTunes and Amazon.
