South-African trio Seether released their sixth studio album (the first album was released as former name Saron Gas) Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray almost a year ago, and since then it has been the most successful year for the band since their establishment in 1999. Now, they are at an all-time high, as the third single off the album, "No Resolution" has topped the charts at the no. 1 spot. This is the third consecutive hit in a row off the new album, making it a first for the band.

"No Resolution" follows previous no. 1 singles "Country Song" and "Tonight." All together, the 12-track album peaked at the no. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. This is the most successful album to date, as sales have reached 300,000.

According to the article, drummer John Humphrey commented on the band's achievement:

We cannot tell you all how excited we are that 'No Resolution' has gone #1! We couldn't have done it without the endless support of our fans and champions at all of the radio stations. We are so grateful to them for helping us get there. Here's to 3 #1's in a row!
