Schenectady Welcomes Wolff’s Biergarten
As Schenectady continues to rebuild downtown, another entrepreneur is adding his restaurant to the mix.
Matt Baumgartner, who already has one of his Bombers Burritos locations in downtown, will be adding Wolff's Beirgarten on Erie Blvd. The lease for the Beirgarten was signed on Friday.
The resaurant will focus on German, Belgian, & Czech as well as cuisine from those. It will also provide a place for soccer fans to watch games from around the world in one place (World Cup anyone?).
If you have visited the location in Albany, Schenectady's will be similar in style but have more beer on draft. The garage doors of the former KEM Cleaners will also be open to let fresh air in.
No word on when the new location will open but it's great to see the rebuilding of Downtown Schenectady is attracting other businesses.
