Heavy rain Sunday and a music festival in Saugerties plus a whole lot of people trying to leave a super muddy grass field parking lot thing at the same time? Well, the title of this story says it all.

With thousands attending the Hudson River Project Music Festival and torrential rain moving through, people are leaving, right? Not so much.

Festival volunteer Jesse Long commented to News10: "Cars got stuck, south lot ended up turning into a lake." One festival goer shared her experience: "We saw people on floats going down, three feet wide water everywhere."

State Police stepped in and setup a temporary shelter and called in bulldozer's, tractors and tow trucks to expedite the messy stuck process.

How about the guy at the end of the video in the jeep? Yep, you know he was in there having fun. Had to be.
